North Lake Tahoe Spartan Ultra World Championship Weekend Day 2

September 25 @ 7:00 AM - September 26 @ 10:00 AM

$119 – $416

This September, North Lake Tahoe, California — the venue of the 1960 Winter Olympics — will again be home to endurance athletes hellbent on achieving the impossible. The action begins Saturday morning, where Open Heat and Age Group athletes take on a punishing Spartan Beast course. Then, on Sunday morning, the Elites will embark on their 24-hour Spartan Ultra World Championship journey. Don’t miss this historic championship weekend.

This epic venue was once a host to the 1960 Olympic Winter Games. Spartans are in for an intense race full of twists, turns, slopes, and stunning views. With a surface elevation of 6,224 feet and a max elevation upwards of 9,000 feet, your lungs and quads better be ready for a long haul of rocky running on the slopes. The notorious alpine swim promises a splash of fresh mountain water. And after the race, the village is an awesome place to eat, shop and celebrate in the festival area.

This weekend will feature our 2022 Ultra World Championship race. The most resilient athletes from across the world will come together to take on 24 hours of grueling, obstacle dense racing. Who will come out on top? You’ll have to meet us in North Lake Tahoe to find out. Also, for the first time ever this weekend will feature a 10K Night Ultra Lap event. Take on one lap of the Ultra to get a taste of the Ultra Championship experience, while also cheering on the 24 hour Ultra Spartans on course.

All finishers receive a T-shirt, medal and professional photos, and every registration comes with access to your Spartan Account to track your tickets, race results, photos, teams, and challenges.

This weekend also features Spartan Trail Race.
