Spartan returns to the culturally rich and visually intoxicating dunes of Abu Dhabi, UAE for the 2023 Spartan World Championship hosted by Abu Dhabi Sports Council. Festivities will include a myriad of local traditions and flavor, including local fare, cultural demonstrations, and some good ole fashion dune buggies.

This year, the Spartan World Championship weekend will include four different World Championship races. A select group of top elites will battle for the inaugural, 3K Elite World Championship title, while Elite and Age Group racers looking for a more grueling challenge will take on the qualification-based 21K Beast Championships.
