The Borneo Trail Classic 2023 is an international trail running event under the Spartan Trail brand where racers from all across the globe will be traveling to the illustrious land of Sarawak in October 2023 to compete in 3 main trail categories: 10K, 21K and 50K to be crowned the Borneo Trail Classic champion by racing through one of the world’s oldest tropical rainforests. Additionally, there will also be a 1K and 3K Kids Race which is open to children ages 5 to 14.
The trails of Malaysia are known to be tough, humid and challenging. It’s time for the world to go explore this paradise.
Sarawak, the largest state in Malaysia, is home to 27 ethnic groups. With 45 different dialects, each group has their own unique stories, beliefs, traditions and cultures. A unique way of exploring and getting to know new cultures through our sport.
