The Advanced Precision Rifle event is only conducted one time per year and is only available to participants who have successfully completed a previous GORUCK Precision Rifle event. Curriculum will build on all aspects taught in the GORUCK Precision Rifle event, and include additional topics and practical exercises designed to increase shooting performance under variable conditions. Participants who complete this course will have a higher level of proficiency in advanced long-range marksmanship and be more capable of precision-shooting under stress conditions.

Participants will be required to utilize a ballistics App during this course. Cadre will use the Kestrel with applied ballistics for teaching purposes, but any ballistic app will be fine. It is recommended that participants get familiar with whichever app they plan on using prior to the event.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Shooters who display weapons proficiency will by challenged by the Cadre to increase their skill level by various methods. This will not have an impact on the overall conduct of the class.
