Classic trail running, no obstacles, many distances. Each race takes place on beautiful, rugged trails around the world. Spartan also hosts the Spartan Trail World Championship series, with some of trail running’s most iconic events and athletes

This is where it all began! Runners of the North Lake Tahoe Trail 10k will find themselves following in the footsteps of legends as they climb up the first section of the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run course, a race that makes this venue one of the most important sites in trail running.

From around the world trail runners flock here for the epic views of the lake, truly epic rocky single-track, and lung-busting ascents. But if there’s any venue where the view is worth the climb, this is it!
